Parent Involvement

St. Paul Child Care is committed to working with parents in providing the best possible care and education for their children.  Parents may request a private meeting with their child’s caregiver.  During the school year the Friday Features provides helpful information about school activities as well as dates and reminders of event that are taking place around our school.

In the summer all parents receive activity calendars, class schedules and a monthly menu.   Parents may visit our center at anytime during our hours of operation to observe their child, operations and program activities.  For security, all visitors must register in the office upon arrival.

Grievances

Should a parent have any question or concerns regarding policies and procedures, please feel to set up a time with the director.  He/She will happily discuss your concerns with you.  If any parent should have a specific question or concern, he should first speak to the caregiver involved.  Discussing it with others only others only leads to gossip and division, and is contrary to God’s directive of or dealing with others as explained in Matthew 18:15-18 and the Eighth Commandment.  If doubt or uneasiness about their matter remains, the parent should speak to the director.  A conference between the caregiver, parent and director can be arranged. Should a parent have any question or concerns regarding policies and procedures, please feel to setup a time with the director.  He/She will happily discuss your concerns with you.   If the problem/concern is not solved or action taken, you are welcome to bring your concerns to the School Board.  The school office will need to be notified so you can it can be placed on the agenda.
