Building and Grounds
St. Paul Lutheran Church and School are situated on six acres in central Austin. We are just a few blocks away from The University of Texas. We are easily accessible from Interstate 35.

Our building was constructed from Austin cutstone from Texas Quarry at Leander. The stone was all hand-cut and hand-trimmed at the building site. The high ceilings and long center aisle of our sanctuary honor the majesty of God.
Our beautiful stained-glass windows were made by artisans in Cologne, Germany. Each window has a Biblical basis and a goodly amount of symbolism to proclaim to all the worshipers with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The original purpose of the stained-glass windows was stated as follows:
- To assist the worship of all who enter here.
- To proclaim the message of God's plan of salvation - Christ, the Alpha and the Omega.
- To point to the mission of the Christian Church and every Christian.
- To remind all who leave here to prepare to meet Christ who is coming soon.
Our school building has three distinct sections of classrooms:
- A wing dedicated to the Early Childhood Classes (PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten)
- The main corridor for the elementary grades
- A second-story section for middle school classrooms
In 2002 we completed a remodel of unfinished space to accomodate Concordia Academy, the Lutheran High School of Austin.
We have a double-sized gymnasium and a very large outdoor play area, including two playscapes. Our computer lab is networked and ready for eager young minds. We have a stage for performances and serve hot lunches in our cafeteria.
Our facilities serve us well, whether we are looking for recreation, education, fellowship, or worship.
