Guidelines for Submitting Requests:

1. Submissions to the prayer chain should be about yourself, your family, or someone you know personally.  This rule helps to cut down on chain-letter-type messages, political messages, and other messages of questionable origin or truth.

2. The prayer chain is to be used for . . . prayers!  Although we do occasionally include funeral service information and the like, the prayer chain is generally not the place to make announcements to the congregation, requests for donations, etc.

3. Respect the privacy of those individuals for whom we are praying.  Out of concern for one another and HIPAA laws regarding the release of personal medical information, submissions may be edited or verified before they are sent out to the prayer chain.

4. It should be noted that the email prayer chain is separate from the lists of prayer requests that appear in the weekly church bulletin and monthly newsletter. If you would like your request to be included in more than one place, please let the prayer chain moderator AND the church secretary know.
