At St. Paul Lutheran School, our 6th - 8th grade program begins at 7:50a.m. and ends at 3:30p.m., with before and after school Child Care available as needed. To achieve our school mission of developing balanced young Christians, prepared to serve the Lord, we strategically integrate a well-rounded curriculum and academic excellence into our Christian environment each day.
Middle school students have a homeroom teacher for their grade level but may rotate to different teachers and/or classrooms for teaching expertise on the different subjects. Our middle school teachers instruct in religion, language arts, math, social studies, science, computer, and health. Specialists provide expertise by teaching Spanish, PE, art, and music. Varied electives are also offered to middle school students each year, such as journalism, current events, band, or choir. St. Paul Lutheran School has emphasized academic excellence across our broad curriculum for over 100 years, as reflected in our consistently high standardized test scores. Middle school students have the opportunity to be elected into the National Junior Honor Society in their 7th and 8th grade years, depending upon their scholastic achievement. Students also receive daily instruction in the Bible and attend weekly chapel services. Prayer is naturally integrated into each school day. Confirmation instruction is offered in grades 7 and 8 one day per week, for those considering membership in the Lutheran church. Through its varied curricular activities, St. Paul Lutheran School seeks to assist the child in reaching his or her full potential as an individual with an emphasis on spiritual, artistic, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. By maintaining high standards, the school strives to provide each student with a solid educational foundation on which to build. ![]() |
