All students enrolled in St. Paul Lutheran School must participate in our physical education program.  If a student cannot become involved in physical education classes because of health reasons, a written statement is required from a doctor to indicate the restrictions.

Because all physical education activities require movement, children need to be appropriately dressed.  All students must wear socks with their shoes.

Children in grades one through four are not required to wear a physical education uniform, but should dress comfortably and girls should wear shorts under dresses or skirts.  Students need to have a pair of athletic shoes with good support at school for use in PE.  If appropriate shoes are not worn to school on P.E. days,the student should have a pair that he/she can change into.

Students in grades five through eight need a pair of athletic shoes.  A school physical education uniform is required. Details on the purchase of physical education uniforms are available on registration day in August.
