Hello! My name is Connie Devine and I have been teaching at St. Paul PK3 for 19 years. Several of those years have been a combination class of 3's and 4's. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska (now Concordia University – Nebraska), the Early Childhood Education Endorsement from Concordia University, Austin, as well as Texas Teacher Certification. In February 2007 I was honored to be selected as the 2007 Outstanding Lutheran Early Childhood Educator for the state of Texas by the Texas District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Prior to teaching at St. Paul, I taught Elementary level children at Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Wauwatosa, Wi., and provided childcare in my home for infants through 4-year-olds for several years while my four children were young.
In addition to spending my mornings with the PK3 children, I enjoy teaching Computer classes for the 1st through 8th grade students afternoons. The Accelerated Reader program is one of my special interests.
When I’m not busy with school activities I enjoy reading, gardening, working on my computer, and spending time with my family.
