We teach our students to believe in excellence, to believe in a bright future, to believe in the love of Jesus Christ, and to believe in themselves. We believe school is about more than just sports and academics. School is about preparing children for life by teaching them to believe in a future full of possibilities and in their own potential.

What We Believe:

We believe, teach and confess the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The Power of God and His Gospel message is the central focus of St Paul Lutheran School.
We believe the purpose of St. Paul Lutheran School is to help students grow in their relationship with God, others and themselves, to help them acquire knowledge and understanding, and to develop talents and skills for responsible living and service.
We believe providing our students with Christian teachers support our fidelity to the Christian Faith. Our teachers:
- Are certified to provide instruction in all the academic areas;
- Model Christian behavior, nurture Christian values, and
- Integrate the principles of justification by grace through faith revealed from the Bible into all subjects and activities.
We recognize that each student’s interests, needs and learning styles must be individually addressed in order to help them develop the skills necessary to solve problems, communicate effectively and think creatively.

Above Average Focus….. Every year finds St. Paul Lutheran students scoring above the national, state, and local averages on standardized tests.
By God's grace ......St Paul Lutheran School continues in this mission as a Christ-centered school. We are led by St. Paul Lutheran Church and serve to continue the Lutheran education that has been nurtured in our congregation since 1893.

St Paul Lutheran School offers......a wide variety of activities to meet the interest of our students. Our commitment is to help students grow in both leadership and teamwork. Our faculty, parents, size and community involvement all offer distinct advantages to our students as they grow academically, spiritually and emotionally.

We Believe In Providing Financial Assistance…

Our goal is to assist parents in their pursuit of excellence by recommending that every family apply for financial aid through the ‘Family Financial Needs Assessment’ (FFNA) program. We offer this assistance to families who cannot afford to pay full tuition. FFNA is prepared to assist Christian school parents and their families by providing a third-party objective and confidential financial needs assessment of parents who apply for financial aid.

We are central to the Austin Community – located just off I35 near St. David’s Hospital.
We are gifted with a full size basketball and volleyball gymnasium.
Our music facilities are large and allow for wonderful concert settings.
Our worship sanctuary is highly conducive to reverence, reflection and praise.
Our playground and ¾ size soccer field allows excellent physical education.

We Believe In Our Spiritual Life…

We believe that St. Paul Lutheran School is an integral part of the mission and ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Church and exists to carry out its commission to children in partnership with their parents, and to respond to our congregation’s and community’s need for Christian education.
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches…..and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
Being "Lutheran," our congregation accepts and teaches the great Biblically based Reformation truths of Martin Luther, which inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The central teaching of Luther and the other reformers can be summarized in three short phrases:
- Grace alone - God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
- Faith alone - By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
- Scripture alone - The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
