Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for 7^th grade is based on Integrating the Faith (Concordia Publishing House) and the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills).

Teaching of the core subjects focuses on the following:

Religion – Bible Study/Doctrine of the Lutheran Church
Math - Students are tested and divided up into a 7^th Mathematics or Pre-Algebra classes.
Social Studies – Texas History
Language Arts – includes grammar and novel studies
Science – Life and Earth Science

Additional instruction is also given in the following areas:

The 7^th graders maybe eligible for athletics, PSIA, student council, National Junior Honor Society.
