After faithfully serving St. Paul Lutheran Church as its Senior Pastor for nearly 15 years, Pastor Nuckols has accepted the Pastoral Call to be the Director of the Pastoral Care Advisory Team for the Army Chief of Chaplains  in Washington, D.C.  During the Divine Worship on Sunday, August 12, 2018, Chaplain (Colonel) Mark S. Nuckols was commissioned/installed into service as an active duty Army Chaplain to begin his new assignment.  As an Army Reserve Chaplain, Pastor Nuckols served two 12-month combat tours of duty in Iraq in 2004-05 and 2007-08, and was awarded the Silver Star.  The Mission.

We  give praise and thanksgiving for having been blessed with Pastor Nuckols’ and Carla’s  ministry, service, and friendship to our parish family for the past 15 years.  We pray God’s boundless blessings on them as they begin this new ministry path to serve God and Country.  They will be missed dearly, but remain forever in our hearts.

Godspeed dear friends and faithful servants!
