2018 Holy Week Worship Schedule

2018 Holy Week Worship Schedule

Each service offers a distinctive perspective on faith and faithfulness, as we remember the path Jesus took in obedience to God and for our sakes. Palm Sunday re-enacts Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem; every child in the congregation will be given palm branches and invited to participate. Maundy Thursday recalls the Passover supper Jesus shared with the disciples.

On Good Friday, the Tenebrae service walks us into the darkness of crucifixion. At the Easter Vigil we thoughtfully contemplate the resurrection, and on Easter Sunday we break forth in alleluias, with the full choir, handbells, and brass choir in accompaniment!

The CLE Board will accept donations of egg cartons, plastic eggs and candy via the donation box in the Narthex. Ask any CLE board member for more information.
