Has it been a while since you spent a day at the lake? Never been to Inks Lake State Park? We would love you to join us for our first “Day at the Lake!”
Inks Lake is a constant level lake in the Highland Lakes chain just outside Burnet (about one hour northwest of Austin). We have rented the group pavilion where we will be cooking hot dogs. Bring your own drinks and a side to share! We’ll also be setting up a few shade tents near the beach, so feel free to bring your folding chairs, fishing poles, and board games!
Park activities include boating (bring your own boat or rent a paddle boat or canoe at the park store), hiking, and swimming (don’t forget your swim suit). Entrance fees are $6 for persons age 13 and up; children 12 and under are free.
