Rev. Ross Davis is a native of Bowie, Texas and has been married to his wife Cari for over 30 years. They have a daughter and a son. He is a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Agricultural Development and has master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas and the US Army War College.
In his previous vocation Pastor Davis was a career armor and infantry officer on active duty in the Texas Army National Guard. He enlisted in 1993 and commissioned through Officer Candidate School in 1996. He served two combat tours in Afghanistan and participated in numerous overseas training exercises. He retired at the rank of colonel in September 2022.
Pastor Davis has been a member of St. Paul since 2009 and previously served on the Board of Elders and as president of the congregation. He was installed as Vicar on November 1, 2020 as part of the Specific Ministry Pastor program. He was ordained and installed on April 23, 2023.
